Classic car breakfast drive-in
For almost 25 years, Castle Combe Circuit have run the very successful Action Day for classic and sportscars and this will continue under the new title of The Retro & Sportscar Action Day on Saturday 14th June.
However after requests from several Classic Car Clubs, we will be running our first ever Sunday morning Classic Drive In on Sunday the 8th June as a prelude to the Action Day itself.
On the basis that there is nothing wrong with copying a good idea, we hope that this initial pilot event, based on other circuits’ events will lead to regular Sunday Drive Ins in 2009.
Admission to the display area will be limited to genuine classic cars, including new classics with enthusiasts who turn up in non-appropriate cars directed into an adjacent parking area just a short walk away.
All enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a hearty breakfast in The Tavern Clubhouse. Circuit Driver Magazine last August stated that The Tavern served the best food at any circuit in the country, so come and find out why. Otherwise it’s a great opportunity to mix with fellow enthusiasts and enjoy some great cars.
Admission to the circuit will be a ÂŁ1.00 per car donation with all money raised going St Nicholas School to raise money for a hydrotherapy pool for children with severe learning and other disabilities.
The car parks will be open from 08.30 with The Tavern open until 12.00 noon.
We look forward to your visit.
