Two wheeled help for safety fund
The Castle Combe Circuit’s annual cycle race, the ‘Tour de Combe’ which took place at the recent Melton Concrete Products Formula Ford 1600 Carnival raised £295 for the Motorsport Safety Fund.
Previous winner, Andy Jarvis, again took the honours, dressed as Batman(!), with Wendy Rankin being the first female home.
For the first time, a unicycle also took part, though no-one can remember seeing him finish…….
Winners from the circuit’s own championships, which concluded at the same meeting, will be honoured at the Annual Dinner & Dance at the De Vere Hotel, Swindon on Saturday October 27.
