The only question I have, as an innocent and maybe naive onlooker, but who has been on many firefighting courses to do with my occupation in a previous life, is this - When the emergency vehicles responding to the incident arrive on scene, would it not be a tad easier and safer if they just parked themselves a few metres clear of the incident so as to prevent a crowded area full of vehicles and personnel if things had got out of hand and the fire had got a grip.

I don't like camels. Or anything else that goes a week without a drink.

It would seem that those smart recessed bonnet clips are of no use when they have melted.

Was a problem to clean up - took a lot of work with a pressure washer to get it all off and the headlights will need to be taken apart and cleaned.... Laurie has no lasting damage as far as he can tell....but he could have done without it - it was a bad enough end to his race without that!

Yes - problems developed during testing and not enough time to sort them before the racing as his boss' Evo takes priority!

We are looking for a copy of the footage to be used on the Marshals training day, as Grandslammer said 'what not to do with a fire extinguisher'.

If a DVD could be forwarded to me at the circuit as soon as possible, that would be great
