Nice one AJEC & CCRC!

Although even as a non-competitor without 'the knowledge' I would strongly recommend using tyres to be honest, optional as well they may be.

That sounds like a moan in itself.

Whilst we all welcome a cheap race deal, has this really been thought through? You can enter this race with any saloon on any tyres, so a Class D car on List 1A tyres lapping at say 1.24's will be passed by 1000bhp Evo's on slicks (see this weeks Motorsport News) racing in their own race and lapping at say 1.10. The closing speeds are going to be massive, far higher than when the Evo's ran in the Saloons which was deem too high. As I said, I'm not sure this has been given enough thought........

Any evo with 1000bhp won't make the 5 laps it would take to lap the class d car any way

Anyway, I'm sure there is a bigger gap in lap times in the gt's and cc saloons, I can't wait to see it tbh.

Tyres optional, surely they need them!
As for the cheaper price, I'd say it is to get drivers that are already at the circuit competing some more track time?
