ST PETER’S HOSPICE PRESENTED WITH £9,000 CHEQUE AT SPRING ACTION DAY
Castle Combe Circuit staff were pleased to hand over a cheque for £9,000 to their official charity partner, St Peter’s Hospice, at the recent Spring Action Day car show held at the Wiltshire venue.
The funds were raised across the circuit’s busy 2025 season through a combination of charity passenger rides courtesy of Autoworks Services and a charity track day held by Christopher Darwin.
To commemorate the donation, Castle Combe Circuit and Autoworks Services staff were joined by members of St Peter’s Hospice on the start line of the 1.85-mile race track, alongside Danielle and Archie Gent, whose mother recently spent time being cared for by the charity.

ABOUT ST PETER’S HOSPICE
The news comes after Castle Combe Circuit confirmed that St Peter’s Hospice will continue acting as its official charity partner into 2026. The Bristol-based charity has spent the last four decades assisting with end-of-life care by combining compassion with clinical expertise.
Megan Austin from St Peter’s Hospice commented on the news:
“All of us at St Peter’s Hospice are incredibly grateful to have been Castle Combe Circuit’s charity partner over the past year. Through their fantastic Action Days, they have raised an amazing £9,000 for the hospice.
“This generous support will go directly towards helping patients find comfort through expert symptom and pain management and providing families with vital caregiving and bereavement support. Their contribution will make a truly meaningful difference to local people and their loved ones when they need it most.
“Thank you, Castle Combe Circuit. We’ve loved working with you this year and look forward to everything the upcoming year brings! We couldn’t be more grateful for your continued support.”
Dale Quaife from Autoworks Services said:
“On behalf of the Autoworks Services team, it is a privilege to be involved in raising funds for St Peter’s Hospice charity. The whole process is an absolute pleasure, and we will endeavour to raise as much as possible throughout 2026.”
