Castle Combe Race Circuit

CHAMPS

VISITING RACE CLUBS ADD TO CHAMPIONS’ CORONATION LINE-UP

Champions’ Coronation will welcome the 750 Motor Club and Monoposto Racing Club to Castle Combe Circuit on Saturday 3 October, joining the Castle Combe Racing Club championships for the final race meeting of the 2026 season.

With championship titles being decided across the CCRC categories, the visiting championships will add further variety to the race programme.

750 MOTOR CLUB

The 750 Motor Club brings four of its championships to Castle Combe, with the Type R Trophy, MX-5 Cup by 5Club, Hot Hatch Championship and Classic Stock Hatch all on the programme.

The Type R Trophy features Honda Civic Type Rs, while the MX-5 Cup by 5Club brings grids of first-generation Mazda MX-5s to the circuit.

Also joining the programme are the 750 Motor Club Hot Hatch Championship and Classic Stock Hatch, featuring modified modern hatchbacks alongside older hot hatch machinery.

The Classic Stock Hatch field includes cars such as the Vauxhall Nova, with the championship focused on keeping the cars affordable and the racing close.

REPRISE IT TIEDEMAN TROPHY

Monoposto

Single-seater racing will also feature at Champions’ Coronation, with the Monoposto Racing Club bringing the Reprise IT Tiedeman Trophy to Castle Combe.

The championship brings competitors from different Monoposto classes together on the same grid, with drivers competing for the overall Tiedeman Trophy regardless of which class their car belongs to.

The six-race championship is being contested across three meetings, with Castle Combe hosting Rounds 3 and 4 on 3 October before the championship concludes at Brands Hatch in November.

The trophy is named after Frank Tiedeman, founder of the Monoposto Racing Club, and has been contested since 2013. The grid can feature a range of single-seater machinery, adding another type of racing to the Champions’ Coronation programme.

Alongside the visiting championships, Champions’ Coronation will see the Castle Combe Racing Club’s own championship battles reach their conclusion, with the 2026 champions crowned after a season of competition.

The final meeting of the year will bring the CCRC championships and visiting grids together for one last day of racing at Castle Combe Circuit.
