Castle Combe Circuit’s dedicated Ford car show – Pure Ford – made a welcome return to the Wiltshire venue on Saturday, 19 June, following the cancellation of the event in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

With an impressive turnout of stunning blue oval-badged metal, it appeared that Ford fans were making up for lost time, with a fantastic atmosphere felt throughout the event both on and off the track.

On the 1.85-mile circuit, affordable Ford-only track and parade lap sessions took place throughout the day, only interrupted by the spectacular drifting displays that were mainly filled with heavily modified Mk2 Escorts kicking up smoke from their rear tyres.

In the venue’s scenic paddock areas, a sea of Ford display vehicles wowed the show-goers, with stands from countless dedicated Ford clubs reminding us just how much love there is for this particular marque. Also in these areas were the fiercely-fought Show & Shine and Concours displays – both of which featured some of the finest vehicles in the country both old and new.

Judges were busy choosing worthy winners of various trophies throughout the day, results of which can be seen below:
