
Wiltshire’s Castle Combe Circuit – the Westcountry’s home of motorsport – has unveiled its calendar of much-loved race meetings for the 2022 season.
There will be seven core race meetings, playing host to both home and guest series across the season, as well as some one-off race events such as the Motorcycle Grand National and the Autumn Classic historic meeting.
The 2022 race event dates are as follows:
Howard’s Day – Monday, 18 April: acting as the race season opener on the bank holiday weekend.
May Day Madness – Monday, 2 May: another bank holiday event, where both home and guest race series start to hot up.
Summer Spectacular – 11-12 June: a full weekend of non-stop mid-summer action.
Classic Sports Car Club Race Weekend – 16-17 July: two days of action run by the Classic Sports Car Club.
Combe Carnival – Saturday, 6 August: making a return for 2022 and bringing with it the much-loved touring car series.
Motorcycle Grand National – 20-21 August: Combe’s two-day motorcycle extravaganza, with racing, stars and more.
Combe Countdown – Monday, 29 August: hosting the penultimate rounds for most series.
Autumn Classic Historic Race Meeting – Saturday, 24 September: turning back the clock for a day of historic car racing and attractions.
Grand Finals – Saturday, 1 October: where the champions are eventually crowned.
