COVID-19 UPDATE STATEMENT AND REOPENING PLAN

Due to government guidelines and factors outside of our control, there have been a number of date changes for some of the major events at the circuit. Please check our website for the correct event dates. If these changes affect your ticket/pass orders please contact info@castlecombecircuit.co.uk

If you have planned attend any of the events listed below, but become unwell or develop symptoms of Coronavirus PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND. 

If you have had a positive Covid test (PCR) within 10 days of the event PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND.

If you have a household member that has had a positive Covid test (PCR) within 10 days of the event PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND.

If you have been told to self-isolate due to contact with a positive Covid person and the event falls within the isolation period PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND.

If you or your household develop Covid symptoms prior to the event please book a Covid (PCR) test and self-isolate until you have the result. If you are waiting for a test result PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND.

  • Face masks always must be worn indoors. If you are exempt from wearing a face mask, please be ready to show your accreditation if asked.
  • When attending the circuit, you must use the track and trace system and we ask you to respect social distancing guidelines.
  • Toilets will be open and regularly checked.
  • Food and Drink outlets and Café Bar H are open as usual for takeaways (event dependent)
  • Currently, no overnight stays or camping is permitted at the circuit.

 

ACTION DAYS 

Spring Action Day (Saturday 22nd May): 

  • Please note that there will be no spectator tickets available for this event and season pass holders will not be admitted.
  • Club passes are now sold out, but there is track time still available for anyone who already has a display pass for the event.
  • Club/Display passes will only admit the driver and 1 adult passenger, plus any children in the car. Unfortunately, we cannot make allowances and need to keep the number of attendees to the event within government guidelines in order to ensure social distancing.

 

Pure Ford (Saturday 19th June): 

Please note that this event has changed dates to 19th June. If you have a ticket/pass and cannot make the new date, please contact clubs@castlecombecircuit.co.uk 

  • Club/Display passes will only admit the driver and 1 adult passenger, plus any children in the car. Unfortunately, we cannot make allowances and need to keep the number of attendees to the event within government guidelines in order to ensure social distancing.
  • Limited Admission Tickets are now back on sale, please visit the Pure Ford webpage to purchase. 

After 21st June, we hope that attendee numbers will be increased and public admission will be permitted for all remaining Action Days.

 

CAR RACE MEETINGS

 

Combe Challenge (Mon 31st May), The BIG Race Weekend (Sat 12th -Sun 13th June) & Classic and Retro Race Weekend (Sat 3rd – Sun 4th July):

  • There is a limited number of spectator tickets available for the events listed above.
  • Please note that public admission will be with an advanced ticket sale only. 2021 Season Pass holders are welcome to attend these events and do not need to contact us.
  • There will be NO public access to the paddock, but public will be free to walk around the track and watch the racing. The road between Chippenham Road and Quarry corner will be closed.
  • Food and Drink outlets around the circuit will be open as normal.

We are hoping that from August onwards, Race Days will be able to run as normal but please check our website for updates. 

 

MOTORCYCLE RACE MEETINGS

NG Road Racing Motorcycle Grand National (Sat 5th – Sun 6th 2021):

Please note that this event has changed dates to 5th/6th June. If you have a ticket/pass and cannot make the new date, please contact doreenm@castlecombecircuit.co.uk – otherwise you will automatically receive tickets for the June date. 

  • There is a limited number of spectator tickets available for each day. Please note that public admission will be with an advanced ticket sale only. 2021 Season Pass holders are welcome to attend do not need to contact us.
  • There will be NO public access to the paddock, but public will be free to walk around the track and watch the racing. The road between Chippenham Road and Quarry corner will be closed.
  • Food and Drink outlets around the circuit will be open as normal.
  • For race entries and competitor information, please contact NG Road Racing directly.

Also note that the CRMC Motorcycle Race Meeting has moved to 21st/22nd August. If you have a ticket/pass and cannot make the new date, please contact doreenm@castlecombecircuit.co.uk – otherwise you will automatically receive tickets for the August date. 

 

CAR AND MOTORCYCLE TRACK DAYS

  • Castle Combe Circuit’s own car and bike track days are scheduled to resume in April, but are currently full up until June. Third party providers may have spaces on their days, but to book these you would need to contact the provider directly.
  • 24th April Motorcycle Track day has availability but please note this is for experienced riders only.
  • Please check out website for updates/new dates and book onto these days early to avoid disappointment
  • If you are booked onto a car or bike track day and need to rearrange your date or place, please email: info@castlecombecircuit.co.uk
  • Currently, admission is for participants and essential helpers ONLY. No spectators or public admission and there is limited access around the site. Gates will be kept closed at all times.
  • Café is open for takeaway only (hoping to reopen as usual after June 21st)
  • Briefings will take place outside, or in small groups of six indoors. Signing on will be done in advance and wristbands will be left for you. Helmet hire is not currently available. In-car tuition is not currently available, but will be after April 21st. This is subject to availability.
  • If you would like to get your car/bike noise checked before booking, please email info@castlecombecircuit.co.uk and we will supply you with available dates and times. Please do not turn up at the venue at any other time and once you have had your noise test, you must leave immediately.

 

TESTING 

Testing is due to resume in April under the following restrictions: 

  • Only those working are permitted (i.e mechanics) and we request that you keep personnel numbers to a minimum where possible.
  • Teams/participants are responsible for their own staff welfare and COVID measures. Spectators and non-essential team members are NOT permitted. Gates must be kept closed at all times. To maintain social distancing, we ask that you keep distance when using the pitlane.
  • Café is open for takeaway only (hoping to reopen as usual after June 21st)
  • If you would like to get your car noise checked before booking, please email info@castlecombecircuit.co.uk and we will supply you with available dates and times. Please do not turn up at the venue at any other time and once you have had your noise test, you must leave immediately.

 

DRIVING EXPERIENCES

Castle Combe Racing School driving experiences are scheduled to resume in April with spaces currently available. Third party providers may also have dates, but to book these you would need to contact the provider directly. 

Please note, these experiences will run under the following restrictions (set until June 21st): 

  • Only family members from the same household should be attending. No additional spectators are permitted.
  • Briefings will be carried out in small groups.
  • All cars are cleaned in between use.
