With tickets available on the gate for the first time in months, Castle Combe Circuit was a very welcoming sight for Summer Action Day on Saturday, 24 July, with crowds enjoying themselves around every square inch of the 1.85-mile circuit’s scenic grounds.

Despite questionable weather forecasts leading up to the event, the rain was kept at bay for the duration, allowing show-goers to enjoy the non-stop action both on and off the circuit throughout the day.

As with all of Castle Combe’s ‘Action Day’ events, Summer Action Day boasted thousands of stunning display vehicles spread out across a number of clubs that had stands around the circuit, as well as a trade village area and plenty of affordable track slots on the circuit itself.

The drifting demos also made a welcome return, this time with more cars, more action and more tyre smoke!

There were once again plenty of rewards up for grabs, hand-picked by Combe’s team of judges:

Small Club of the Show: Kia Stingers Owners’ Club (Main Paddock Area)

Large Club of the Show: Degenerates (Main Paddock Area)

Overall Club of the Show: Downlow (Camp Corner Area)

Car of the Show: Jon Stone, ’62 Chevrolet Impala (Bristol Detailing Supplies Stand)
