HALLOWEEN ACTION DAY MARKS END OF SPECTACULAR SHOW SEASON

The Halloween Action Day event descended onto Castle Combe Circuit on Saturday, 30 October, signifying the close of yet another superb year of events at the Wiltshire venue.

Despite a miserable forecast in the lead-up, the show welcomed mild and sunny weather for the majority of the day, setting a perfect backdrop for the thousands of performance car fans in attendance.

As at any Combe ‘Action Day’ event, the backbone was formed by hundreds of stunning show cars spread out over a number of dedicated car club stands. The club members stepped things up this year by getting into the spirit of Halloween, with spooky stand decorations and outfits proudly shown off by the majority.

There was also a tightly contested Show & Shine stand and a thriving Trade Village area for attendees to enjoy.

Out on the 1.85-mile circuit itself, public track sessions were popular throughout the day, as well as slower parade laps for those who wished to enjoy the track at a more leisurely pace. These sessions were broken up by three impressive drifting display sessions, with some of the country’s finest drivers kicking up tyre smoke for the crowds on the banks.

As always, plenty of awards were handed out by the judges on the day, details of which can be seen below.
