During this unprecedented period of uncertainty in the UK and beyond, the Castle Combe Circuit team is livening things up for motorsport fans with ‘Combe TV’ – a Facebook Live show that airs every Wednesday and Sunday at 7pm.
Hosted by Sales and Marketing Director, Tom Davis, and the circuit’s leading commentator, Chris Dawes, Combe TV invites special guests along as the hosts discuss all things Castle Combe and motorsport.
Confirmed for the show on Sunday, 7 June is motorcycle coordinator, Steve Bostock from NG Road Racing!
ABOUT STEVE BOSTOCK
It’s fair to say that a love for motorcycles has been in Steve’s blood since childhood. Attending his first race meeting at the age of just four years old, he’s ridden motorcycles himself since he was 10.
Bostock soon turned this into a more professional passion when he joined the committee of the North Gloucestershire Motorcycle Club, aged 17. It was also around this time that Steve and a group of friends would go marshalling at motorcycle events around the country most weekends.
Steve sat his first Clerk of the Course test for his NG club at the age of 20, achieving his first FIM Clerk of the Course licence in 1999 at the age of 32. He then became the Chairman for the much-loved outfit for a number of years until he ventured into the world of British Superbikes, working within Race Control.
Remaining on the Board of Directors for NG throughout, Steve eventually stepped back from BSB in 2009, continuing to act as a very important part of his local club to this day. NG Road Racing is now one of the largest clubs of its kind in the UK, running events at all major UK circuits, not least at the electrifying ‘Motorcycle Grand National’ race weekend it hosts at Castle Combe each year.
