Some championships might still be racing in the depths of the winter but here at Combe we rounded the year off with Autumn Classic in EARLY October. Looking towards 2019 and only one year away from our BIG 70th BIRTHDAY, we are delighted to announce the dates for you avid race fans!

The content is still being finalised but one thing is for certain will be the return of our home grown championships, back bigger and stronger for the season! This year saw some epic grids for the mighty Saloon Championship and the Pro Alloys Hot Hatch Series is growing at an incredible rate.

Kick staring the race season is Howards Day on Bank Holiday Monday 22nd April. This race sees us remember the very man himself Howard Strawford, who made racing possible again here back in the 70s. It will be 6 years since we lost Howard but his memory lives on with what always promises to be a fantastic start to the season.

We then move to May with our two Bank Holiday Race Meetings on Monday 6th May and Monday 27th May. The May races are always jam packed and we will hopefully be welcoming back the Dave Allan Trophy race. June sees a break from racing and the it’s into a full weekend of action on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July. Expect double headers and lots of visiting clubs to keep you all entertained and thrilled for a summer weekend.

A month later we have our epic August Bank Holiday meeting on Monday 26th August. This event is perfect to sit back and enjoy the summer sun. Its then all eyes on September when we have the Grand Finals day on Saturday 14th September. This day is a no holds barred end of season finale, where champions are crowned and trophies are gained. Its always one of the most thrilling and entreating race meetings of the season with big grids and all out battles ensuing on the hallowed tarmac.

If that wasn’t enough for you, we finish the year with what has now become the largest race meeting on the calendar the Autumn Classic on Saturday 5th October. This event enters its 8th year and truly embraces all that is good and great within historic racing. From packed grids to jaw dropping displays on and off track we can’t wait to announce further information over the coming months…

Remember that season passes will be on sale soon and make for fantastic Christmas presents for just £100/£135 Seniors/Adults (valued at over £270!). Whatever you do next year, make sure you visit our race meetings.

Many of you may already know that it has been confirmed that the TCR Series will not be visiting our great circuit next year. This was not Castle Combe's decision as we whole heartedly supported them and thoroughly enjoyed watching this new Touring Car Series battle our infamous corners. Please keep an eye on the TCR website for more news of where they are going and we wish them all the best for the 2019 season and fingers crossed they can join us in 2020.

Please Note: These dates are provisional and subject to change.
