Forge Action Day 2021 saw a welcome return of Castle Combe’s ‘Action Day’ show format when it descended on the Wiltshire venue on 11 September to celebrate its 10th anniversary in style.
With a full-capacity crowd once more, the event – supported by Forge Motorsport – did not disappoint, with vast club stands, a huge trade village area and plenty of track and drifting action taking place out on the circuit.
Highlights included the two 30-minute drifting displays, fronted by Forge-supported Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni kicking up some clouds in his V8-powered Nissan PS13.
Amongst the static display areas, several awards were given out by our judges throughout the day:
Small Club of the Show: Cariminal Society
Large Club of the Show: ST-OC
Overall Club of the Show: Apex Division
Car of the Show: Mazda RX-8-powered Ford Escort (Liam Stolton)
Show & Shine:
3rd: Kieran Johns – Vauxhall Astra Van
2nd: Andrew Connett – BMW 3-Series
1st: Charlie Pearce – VW Golf Caddy
The next events at Castle Combe Circuit are:
Rallyday – 25 September
JDMCombe – 9 October
Halloween Action Day – 30 October
