Castle Combe Circuit will be welcoming back the fantastic sight of touring cars to the grid on Saturday, 6 August at the Combe Carnival race meeting, in the form of the fifth leg of TCR UK Championship which will play out on the day.
Launched in the UK in 2014, the ‘TCR’ concept was introduced to level-up touring car racing on a global scale. Featuring production saloons powered by 1.75 to 2-litre turbocharged engines, cars are built by manufacturer-approved constructors to comply with carefully controlled technical regulations and FIA homologation.
Such has been its success, TCR racing now takes place in more than 30 different countries across the globe, with the UK series continuing to be at the forefront of the sport.
The Combe Carnival race meeting will play host to two TCR UK Championship races throughout the day, as well other much-loved guest series such as the Milltek Sport Civic Cup. The day will also feature the superb ‘home’ championships and series seen at all race events at the Wiltshire venue, such as the CRCC Formula Ford Championship and CRCC GT Championship.
As well as enjoying all of the racing action from the scenic grounds, attendees can also benefit from a lunchtime TCR UK Championship grid walk and a chance to meet the drivers for autographs.
Tickets available on the gate all day (cash and card accepted).
